The dual update crippled the one site I tried it with and even trashed the database. Definitely avoiding WordPress 5.0…. will wait for 5.1 before trying again!
Have you opened up a support ticket yet? We would love to request a support token so that we can log in and take a closer look. I think it might have something to do with the fact that you are securing your WordPress admin with SSL, but not your front end. This may result in mix content errors or redirect issues when we communicate to your page via the iframe. It might also be a permalinks issue. It could also be a plugin conflict.
Any luck getting if fixed? Did ET take a look?
All I did was went to Appearance > Themes and there is an update now notification on top of Divi theme.
Updated it from that area and it resolved the builder issue. Works fine now.
