In concept this is awesome, but the execution was poor! There's no way to hide the title, featured image, and post meta on Custom Posts that don't have a pre-set layout. In other words, any CPT's you create with a CPT plugin, are going to have those things, with no way to hide them. Plus they'll be limited in width like a post, rather than allowing you to design the whole page, like a page would. It would be nice if there was some simple way to just tell Divi "treat this CPT like a page" so we could design the whole thing.

There's also no Custom Taxonomy support, or CPT support in the Blog/Portfolio modules. So if you want your CPT's to display a custom taxonomy they have, there's no way within Divi. Or if you want to do a blog module or portfolio module but with CPT's, you can't do that either. Much like the API that was supposed to allow developers to build lots of stuff on top of the Visual Builder, this is a half-baked feature and who knows when ET will find time to revisit it and make it the full-featured functionality that it should be…?

I hate to complain, but just feel like we keep getting this kind of "feature." They're "so close" to amazing, without really being all that great… : (

Are embedded videos in AFC WYSIWYG editor working finally? 😛 But I am glad there is a perfect implementation. Thanks to divi I could create just template for custom post and client could focus just on data entry.

What about with the Fullwidth Post Slider? I don't see a way to display posts of a custom post type in the slider.
